Getting a beautifully turned collar in duplicate is very difficult so your effort is commendable. Go for the jacket as others have suggested. I think your suggestion on single layer is a good one so I may be getting to work on mine.<br />Theresa in Tucsontheresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13871779245121626075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454299534973486652.post-38807111478315011352019-08-28T10:17:35.856-04:002019-08-28T10:17:35.856-04:00I was thinking about adding the jacket to create s...I was thinking about adding the jacket to create some structure! I don't like showing my shoulders much -- my personal phobia, so would prefer a jacket over sleeves cut in much further. Hmmm! It's a work in progress.Melwykhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04885378201188978664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454299534973486652.post-78191007862413890592019-08-28T10:16:44.635-04:002019-08-28T10:16:44.635-04:00You know, it is that sense that my gran wore stuff...You know, it is that sense that my gran wore stuff like this around the house that is putting me off a little. That's just my own personal preference. Alternatively, what about making the jacket to go with it? They're so cute as a set!Mashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05364861545043732582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454299534973486652.post-88945282973006540862019-08-28T06:10:33.470-04:002019-08-28T06:10:33.470-04:00It's a pretty design, and nicely done...but I ...It's a pretty design, and nicely done...but I think I'd go for cutting it down to blouse length. This, however, is because it reminds me of stuff my mum used to wear when I was a kid lol Personal taste is weird isn't it? Many of the styles that these 'young designers' come up with seem old-ladyish and frumpy to my eyes for the exact same reasons! I also find Chanel-style jackets amazingly frumpy, even when they are clearly exquisite labours of love and high-end making. Weird. As a blouse, I think it would work better on you, and you look great when you show off your waist 'jealous mutterings, as I don't have one]DementedFairyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13849506916345114927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6454299534973486652.post-40508917300639390592019-08-27T19:46:55.590-04:002019-08-27T19:46:55.590-04:00Cute Cute Cute!Cute Cute Cute!Bonnie @ sewplus.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02963033371259192868noreply@blogger.com
